I descend from Elizabeth Kivell (known as Lizzie) she married Thomas Augustus Swaysland. My sisters and I and cousins went to the Kivell Reunion in 1996 it was great to meet our Kivell relations who we had never met before. I also came across one who I had worked with for a number of years in Wellington and we did not realise we were related - a small country. We laughed and said almost at the same time - "what are you doing here?"
