On the weekend of March 16 -17 1996 a KIVELL reunion was held at the then Quality Hotel, Bell Block, New Plymouth. Included in the weekend programme was a visit to a New Plymouth Cemetery to view several graves of family members. Donations were made so that a memorial stone could be erected to John and Mary Kivell.
