 On the 26 Oct 1884 at the Inglewood Catholic Church, JOSEPHINA FISCHER married John August (Jack) SATTLER. She was 24 years of age and he 25. Josephine arrived in NZ aboard 'Antares' on 17 Nov 1881 while John had travelled from Switzerland arriving in Wellington on 11 Jul 1875.

Josephina died of carcinoma primarily of stomach and heart failure on 26 Oct 1930 age 69. John (Jack) had suffered from diabetes for 12 years before passing away 17 Aug 1936 age 76, they had six children
