Born on the 27 April 1895 BUTLER Caspar Josef JNR arrived in N.Z early 1903. He then travelled back to Switzerland and married Lina MADER from Salvenach on 8 July 1911 at Triengen, Canton Luzern. He returned to N.Z in 1913 accompanied by Uncles Kaspar BUTLER & Josef Felix & Idda BUTLER, who had been holidaying in Switzerland.

Casper died on the 19 July 1939 age 54 (after his bicycle hit a truck on Ohuru Road, Raetihi).
